I test fitted the tow bars on the bumper just now.
Here are Galactica’s parts (Priamide). I ordered them from 3DpTrain. They arrived with the support stems removed but some minimal cleanup is still required. Some of the smaller parts were still attached to the sprues.
The large main pins are too large a diameter to fit the hinges that attach to the bumper. You need to drill out the holes in the hinges and bumper for the large pins to fit. Pointed out below are the bumper holes that need drilling out. Be extremely careful as I snapped one of the holes and part of the top is now missing. Second photo shows the large pins and hinges. The holes in the hinges where the large pins slide into also need drilling out. I suggest attaching the hinges alone to the bumper first before attaching the tow bars.
The tow bars do hide the slight gap from the front but is still visible from the top view. With the hood in place, you more than likely won’t notice the slight gap.
You can see where I pointed out where I snapped off the top of the ring on the bumper while drilling it out to fit the pin. The pins aren’t all the way in as it was only a quick test fit.
Here is the Galactica (Priamide) 3D printed pin and bumper. You can see the hole in the bumper isn’t exactly round and is also a smaller diameter than the pin. Looks like they were misprinted from 3DpTrain. Either drill out the hole to a bigger diameter or file down the pin to fit. I opted to drill the hole but wasn’t paying attention and snapped off the top of the hole. It would have been a lot easier to file down the pin.
I test fitted the 3D printed pins on the ILK parts and the pins are much bigger than the holes in the ILK parts. I had to drill out the ILK part as seen on the left. Original size on the right. Even though it is easier to just file down the pin to a smaller diameter, I opted to drill out the hole seeing these are plastic parts but you still need to be careful. I paid attention this time to make sure nothing snapped off.
With the 3D printed hole snapped off the bumper, the tow bars still fit but the broken part is visible even when the tow bars are mounted. I will more than likely use the ILK bumper and just fit the 3D printed tow bars to the kit plastic bumper parts. The 3D printed bumper set is affordable enough so I might order another set as I am waiting to order another part from Galactica (Priamide) off 3DpTrain so might order them together.
