Stuka Ju87r fire extinguisher color?

I am building the Trumpeter 1:32 version that has no paint reference for these tanks that look like pineapples :grinning: vague info online, red with some type of stripes? any help is appreciated.

I built this kit a couple of years ago. I don’t know if yours is the same version - Trumpeter has several versions on the market. Are you referring to these?

I don’t remember if my instructions gave a color specification or if I found the information on the web. I usually go to the sources and believe I used the appropriate color. I can check my instructions for you if you want.

Hi, I confirm. My instruction sheet doesn’t even say the color of the extinguisher. But I confirm anyway. They were red.

Thank you, I will follow your advice. Very obscure info on Stuka interiors

Yes, but we know, not all of them are called Tamiya, so as not to name names…

Jokes aside, it’s a nice kit, with some nice features in the engines, for example. I had fun building it. This is my build.
One of the two I built while the other was in progress
Cheers and good work

nice clean build you have there :ok_hand: I have 2 of the Trumpeter 1:32 Ju 87r models. I am very impressed with the detail and ease of assembly. thanks again for the advice. I assume you are Italian? I served in the USN 6th fleet Naples Italy back in 1977-1981. So many fond memories.

Hi David,
Yes, I’m from Northern Italy
in 1981 I was in the Carabinieri, I guess you met someone.
I have always been fascinated (and grateful) by the US Navy, not for nothing my avatar is your SH-3H.
Speaking of the Stuka, it is an intriguing subject, with those seagull wings. In my showcase there is also one of your F4-U Corsairs stationed in the Solomon Islands.
I’m sure you’ll make a great model out of it. As for mine, I think I’ll present it here soon, I’m quite new to this forum and I’ve already published enough, I didn’t want to bore the other members.
I am happy that you liked Italy, surely there you have known the best pizza in the world. Are you planning a holiday back in Italy?

I would really like to return someday, I served on the USS Detroit AOE4, traveled on my days off by train as far north as Lago di Como. I will certainly follow your future posts. The cuisine of Italy the best ,NYC comes close. Here in Idaho, not so good. Time to sleep now. thanks for the Stuka info.
