I have the 1/24 Typhoon in the stash and intend to build it closed up for an in-flight appearance, but I wonder whether I should have all that lovely engine detail out as a separate display, just so it isn’t hidden away (in the box)…

Hi Russell. I think a lot of it will be hidden once the hull halves are joined. It would almost be worthwhile if Special Hobby created a clear plastic hull half. It might also be feasible as to cut out part of the hull wall and replace with clear plastic. The sides of the Sunderland are pretty flat and lack any complex curves …
