Super Frelon - Something I built YEARS AGO

I built the Puma in the past as well. I thought it was a pretty good kit. Unfortunately, I didn’t survive all the moves either.

Looks great. Real shame it didn’t survive, but that’s the problem with big scale! They’re not as easy to pack and move.

I’m very tempted to go with the Desert Storm colours myself. In the last issue, Revell did include a new sprue of parts for updated seats and RWR sensors and flare dispensers. Basically all the retrofitted gear they acquired over their time in service. I think there was floatation gear too? Been a while since I’ve looked in the box.

Ahey man, I really like the older kits. I mentioned my favorite kit, and learning from Shep Paine how to scratch-build. For me and me only, a big part of the fun died with the advent of all the after-market gizmo’s, not to mention 3-d printing now. I switched from 1/35 to 1/25 mostly to keep scratch-building. But all that is “off topic” as well. The Freilon will always have a spot in my heart
