Amongst the many skills I garnered as an RAOC Staff Clerk was the ability to stick maps together; “garnered” is technically wrong. Imposed upon me or rather “punched into me” would be more accurate.
However, it was a skill, and in a Divisional HQ, not for the faint-hearted where professional standards were high and demanding, however, I’ll bore you all later with the details (as I usually do once a project nears fruition).
I now plan to portray me, in “action” sticking bloody maps together.

I’ve scoped a couple of figures which will still need converting, to reflect British Army figs c. 1974 but I’ll give it a go, just not yet; I’ve a couple of other projects to complete and I mustn’t get distracted with this one.
