I found the major file of the mineroller online here on cults3d.com (search key word mineroller, this one is free). And spent some time on coordinating those parts, like making an axis. Concerning the strength of it, I entrust an e-commerce to print those parts out through SLA instead of LCD. The main tank parts are from Tamiya.
Interesting conversion. And the paint effect looks nice. How is it used?
It’s shocking to see such an advanced and fine SLA 3D print item like this mine roller attached to such a rudimentary kit with a screw in the bottom. Your winter whitewash finish is very well done and looks excellent, but I would get a better T34/76 kit than the old Tamiya offering to mount the outstanding mine roller on.
I like the results. I would have some comments about some historical accuracy related stuff but I guess it does not matter that much
Well the the 3rd model has some definitive simplifications as it was made for 50/56 scale. Here is a cad showing better the teeth on the wheels.https://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i7/yannsolo/T-34-85/MINEROLLER.jpg
@varanusk Just use flat headed brush of suitable width. It dries quickly, then become durable. There’s another thing should be noticed, for it has more thickness than usual oil paints. Therefore, don’t put much at once.
Yeah, this kit is aging but very cheap😬. Besides, since the original file is free, I will publish the file after repairing for free as well. Tonight maybe. The connection parts to hull are movable, I believe any kit will fit as well😎
Don’t care about it so much😀. I’m as well willing to learn more knowledge🥂
If it’s hard to acquire mineroller kit or resign parts, you may try this. The file was fixed by me conducted on the base of another designer. Both the original one and improved one are free.
