Quite a few years back, I came across an article in a long gone modelling magazine that looked at modifications the Ethiopian army(iirc) were trying out on some T-62 s. The mods included both hull and turret but it was the turret that struck and stuck with me. Digging through the stash recently i pulled out a Tamiya T-62 and decided to give it a go, but just focusing on the turret. Less of a “what if” and more of a “something like…”

Thank you chaps i honestly cant remember what the deal was with the autoloader, so Ive gone for a bustle-mounted unit with combustible ammo…

Very interesting! It looks like a T-62 crossed with some AMX-30 turret features… That camo paint is beautiful!
