T-66 track links needed

Hi gang,

I’m looking for two T-66 links (for HVSS Shermans) from the Armour Track Models set TK-11. I bought and built this set only to discover that they are a link short on each side! I foolishly used six links as spares on the hull side, thinking I counted enough left for the track runs, but models don’t have the same range of adjustment that real tanks do. Oops!

So, if you have two links to offer, drop me a PM! I’m in the UK.

Did you ever get your links?

Nope - you’re the only reply. Don’t suppose you have any hanging around?

Are you building with or without the sand/dirt shields so that some links could be hidden from sight?
If a link could be hidden it might be possible to substitute with another type/brand of links.

That’s a possibility - my fall-back position was to scratch up crude links and hide them over the sprockets. But ideally I’d love to save all that effort…

don’t we all, … don’t we all …

I was going to suggest something similar - cut the links in half. Now you get two for one. Put the “good” part on the outboard side and something simliar on the inboard side underneath the wheels. I’m betting you won’t see it even if you know it’s there. That was my reason for asking if you had found a few.
