T-90 w/Dozer Help

Hi All!

I am working on the Meng T-90 kit with the dozer attachment and have reached a point where I need to decide what is going on the front, either the dozer blade or the entrenching attachment.

Some shots of the progress. Mostly out of the box, I replaced the antenna with an aftermarket brass one and the Smoke Dischargers were replaced with one from Voyager.

This is where I ran into a small problem, and thought i would reach out to see if someone here could help out. I can’t seem to find any pictures of the T-90 with a dozer blade attachment. I’m trying to get an idea of the weathering and any closeups of the rear of the blade so I can try to replicate the weld beads. I’m trying to practice my technique.

I would appreciate it if anyone had any pictures of the modern russian take dozer that they could share, because like i said, i can’t seem to find any in my searches.

Thanks for the help!
Mike

Sorry I can’t help with the dozer blade but you’ve done a cracking job so far. :+1: :+1:

Here’s a upgraded T-72 fitted with the same TBS-86 dozer blade :

There was only a prototype of the T90 with a dozer blade, so there are only a few photos of the original. As a link, another piece of work in the Russian forum, the dozer blade is very well done.

Thank you guys for the help. I may have to consider not doing the dozer blade since it was just a prototype. Lots to consider.
