Trumpeter kit. No issues that I can recall. Non workable Indy links with individual guide horns. Don’t understand why the turret is not keyed. Kit is OOB. Thanks for looking.
Nicely done DV… I like the balance to the cam scheme… Also, it just shows what you can achieve with a just OOB build … Impressive
DV, looks fantasic!
Really like the skirt weathering.
BTW - Reached for the RPG just in case
Great work DV- I think you have painted and weathered it nicely with the mud around the skirts and various splashes here and there plus various bits of streaking dirt and rust.
Excellent job DV. Great camo job and the weathering is very nicely done.
Nice OOB DV! Nice tight build and excellent paintwork. Outstanding, straightforward model!
Thanks all for the positive feedback It was a pretty straightforward build and went together nicely Certainly not Tamiya like but far better than the Rochev that fights me at every turn.
Ken
I like the subtle dry brushing ( assuming you dry brushed) and very neat panel lining.
The Top photo really shows the effort the best.
Thanks. I use an overall dark wash. Once dry I follow with a pinwash around raised details. After the pinwash is dry I do a light dry brushing.
Fantastic!! Love the overall finish, the paint job is really nicely done and the camo is attractive!
Nice T-80. I like the early models. I hate when they don’t key the turrets. Inevitably, I’ll handle the model down the road, forget the turret isn’t locked down, turret falls on floor, lots of cursing and swearing.
Yup. What I do is to use some tacky to somewhat secure the turret. At the very least it keeps the turret from bouncing around and keeps it on so long as you don’t lift by the turret.
