TAK4 suspension assemblies anyone?

Just out of couriosity, Is anyone aware of a TAK4 suspension that could be used to upgrade model kits? I encountered a MaxxPro with TAK4 last sunday and would like to build it in scale.

The Trumpeter Mk.23 MTVR uses Tak4 suspension.

The I  Kit LVSRs also have Tak4 suspensions.

Any of these could be harvested for another project.

I designed my own, for my M1074 and M1075 projects.

A while ago I scratch built the TAK4 to convert a Legend MRAP, into a MAXPRO version with independent, rather than solid axles:

I used the truck in a work shop diorama, so it was relevant to see the particular suspension details, and lol - I forgot, this has the correct grill - the kit grill has vertical louvers, but the MAXPRO has horizontal, so this does too.

I did this so long ago, that I don’t recall exactly what I did to make it all work, but I do recall finding shop drawing/tech info on line which was useful. At the time I built several MATV kits, which have similar modular suspension units, except, they only have one coil spring per side. I was hoping they were the same - as they were not, the MATV suspension served as a good general scale reference. Looking back at this, I don’t recall if this was supposed to be be the MAXXPRO Dash variant or not??

Cheers

The TAK-4 suspension units from the ILK MKR18 LVSR kit. The front axles are alright, the rear ones are faulty. ILK apparently think, all five axles are identical, which is by far the case.
I have written ILK two times to ask for the possibility of purchasing sprues from the LVSR kit, but so far to no avail. But since the Trumpeter MVTR kits also use the TAK-4 suspension, it might be possible to get these sprues? Then again, the Trumpeter MTVR kit can be had for around €55, so it might not be profitable to get individual sprues from China?

You used to be able to get Trumpeter brands (Trumpeter, I  Kit, Hobby Boss, Merrit) sprues cheaply through Hobby DNA, but they are not shipping to the US right now with the Tariffs. Not sure why as I have bought kits from China with no issues and only slightly higher shipping lately.
