Takom offer three versions of 1/16 type 94 japanese tankette, two in japanese service and one in communist chinese service. I am interested in building one, but only
the chinese version seems available at the moment. Does anyone know of the chinese and japanese versions are the same? the box say the chinese version comes with vinyl tracks. does it still have the individual links as well?

unfortunately co1999 didn’t reproduce the actual instructions, and photos of the trees in the box shows the vinyl tracks but is not clear about whether the track links are there.

The two in Japanese service are both different - one is an early version, the other late. The suspension/idler/rear hull is a different configuration. The Chinese version is the same as the early version, and yes, it only includes vinyl tracks. And of course all three figures are different.
