This kit is sitting on my to do shelf. I was going to do the beutepanzer build of it and realized the color call outs are for a base dark grey and a light grey as the main colors. Is this right, i was under the impression it was a captured tank in winter? I see the date and place of its use is unknown in the markings as well. Would it be common for tanks like the M3 to be repainted in all Grey or is this a bad color sheet?

I wouldn’t buy a repaint into the panzer gray. Most likely some color(s) applied over the original OD delivery color, if any repaint happened.

@Stikpusher thsts what I figured. I referenced a miniart kit that had similar markings and I may just follow there call outs for it.
