This is the late steel wheel version that can also be built as a command vehicle. Used Tamiya late war tri colors heavily lightened. Probably should have gone even lighter because of the I’m holding the dark wash in the grooves. Built OOB. Kit comes with metal barrel. Supplied indy links with included jig but I didn’t like how they turned out so I replaced them with 3D printed indy links. No issues that I can recall. Removed the right front mud flap and a section of the skirt on the same side. Also dented the heat guard on the right side as well.
Lots of mud on this big kitty. Combination of MiG and Vallejo products. Fair amount of splashed mud applied by blowing the mixture off a brush with the AB. Splashes may not show well in the photos. Considering adding some more to the turret and the deck. I’ll let it sit for a couple of days before I decide. Thanks for looking.
