Tamiya 1/35 M-51 "Super Sherman"

Hey guys! Finished my M-51. Really happy with how it turned out!
Not much to say about it honestly, pretty straightforward, nothing special.
Used Ryefield’s HVSS Sherman workable tracks for, well, workable tracks…
Anyway, let me know what you think, or not, just wanted to share!

Thank you! Yeah, well, honestly I don’t really know what I’m doing when it comes to weathering haha, I just do pin washes on bits and bobs, and I do sludge washes on fabric, like the mantlet canvas covers
But hey, so long as it works, right?

Yup, I just do sludge washes on mantlet canvas covers, highlights the folds and wrinkles!

Yeah, from what I read the Tamiya kit is the best M-51 kit, even though it’s simple!

Of course, I don’t know what I’m doing sometimes either! :joy: But i’ve never heard of a sludge wash though, what is it?

Basically just painting with the wash! Makes the wash pool in the folds and wrinkles, highlighting them
