Those engine hoist brackets on the turret need a hole drilled through them, for where a ,mounting pin would be inserted.

The hard point and brackets on the back of the turret bustle are a stowage rack for the M-2 .50 cal.

Was that hoist mounting capability present on the production T26E3/M26? The rear mount point in that photo is about where the shell ejection/pistol port is located on production turrets. Also look at the split loaders hatch in the Aberdeen photo that was not on the production T26E3 turret.

Edit- Disregard… I looked at other photos. The E3 turret had a more substantial mounting points than the E1 in the Aberdeen photo
