Wow, with this level of detail and expertise, I often think there is a case for not painting it so it doesn’t hide the work!

Thank you but I think that the painting is the essence of this hobby.
Even if I have a T-90 which will never be paint. :slightly_smiling_face: Its masking would be problematic to me because of the lot of PE.

The base color is Gunze H403 dark yellow acrylic.

Super work so far. Will follow with interest.

Woah! Love the camo, it is superb.

Would you mind expanding on how you weathered the lower bits? Which products/techniques? I really like the look and would like that on a KV-1 and Elefant I am building. Weathering is weak spot of mine so o love to learn what others are doing

I weathered the lower areas with MIG P033 dark mud pigment. At first I applied the pigment with a flat brush then fixed with Abteilung502 pigment fixer.
As for the tracks, I painted it with Gunze H72 dark earth acrylic then after drying I applied the same MIG pigments.
And if you interested, the camo color is XF-64 red brown acrylic of Tamiya.

That’s great! It’s interesting how the pigments created a sort of two-tone dirt on the model. I guess that depends on the thickness of the pigment.

You’re right. The thickness of pigment not the same on whole surface.

Looking good! I take it that the spare tracks will be treated later on?
