Back to this one for a bit until some spare sprues for an Abrams come in. I’m using the SMM parts now, easy peasy. I did have to heat and straighten a couple of bits but this resin is easy to work with.

And because I like to, I re-did all the footman’s loops with wire.

I piddle-farted a bit on the turret details last night, putting on the etched brass reinforcents. I have previously done these in plastic so I was curious to see if the SMM parts were better and/or quicker. Short answer: yes to both, by a hair.
I did a bit more work on the turret roof too. Now it’s time to see if my 1:1 tank had the track tools moved to the turret roof.

May I ask from which set you got the etched brackets for the tools ?
They came from the Eduard set for the Cr1.
