Tamiya Ebbro 1/20 scale 1965 Lotus 33

Finally, after waiting more then 1 year for the Tamiya Ebbro 1/20 scale 1965 Lotus 33 to be released, I’m now the proud owner of one. My good Friend Richard Tool late last week gave me a heads up to a ebay vendor who seems to have quite a supply of the kit. So I ordered one ASAP, and of course it was delivered today in the middle of the great 2021 Norestner. Been raining for more then 24 hours with no let up in site. But the important thing is that the PO office did deliver it.

It’s not my next build as that’s already been taken by the Nunu BMW M8 2019 GTE Road Atlanta winner, and right after that my buddy build with my brother, then it’s the Lotus 33 making it to my bench.

Well, I’m sitting in the stands ready to follow along when you do make a start, Joel :slightly_smiling_face:

Russelle,
Always glad to have you along for the ride on my builds.

I’m getting close to my 1st update post on the Bimmer, and it’s going to be one heck of a build as I’ve bought AM decals for full carbon fiber everywhere, and the Nunu detail up set with PE, which will be a 1st for me.

ooo-where can I find that?

Russelle,
I haven’t started the build blog as yet. I wanted to get the body and completely ready for priming and paint 1st, which is proving to be more of a challenge then I 1st thought. But you know me, once I’m going, the updates will come in a logical manner till the build crosses the finish line.

As for where, it’s right here in the Cars section.

Cheers- RT

I’m booking my seat in the front row here as well Joel, it’s sure to be another great show to watch!

Cheers, D

D,
Thanks as always for the support through another epic build. This show as I told Russelle is all about learning how to use a Detail Up set which is a lot of PE including Annealing, which I’ve always avoided like the plaque, and 3 different sources of Carbon Fiber decals which I’ve also managed to work around.
