It certainly does, and I know I’m in danger of sounding like a broken record, but I just wish they’d put this amount of effort into some figures suitable for USAREUR Cold War - say the 70s. I’m currently wrestling with modifying some figures for my M114, and whilst I know it’s the lot of the Cold War modeller, it does get a bit wearing (sigh).

Unfortunately they left the lug for attaching the bayonet off of their M1s. The Italeri M1s, which came out 30 years ago got that right. Those are still pretty good M1s even by todays’ standards.

I feel your pain Brian. I’m into figures a lot but not into modifying them but I may have to try it someday because I do love that period of history myself.
