Would the inside surface of the tail wheel door on the avenger be the same color as the underside (white) or would be interior green?

Standard USN practice was to paint landing gear and wheel wells in colors matching the surrounding surface. So Light Gray on the early to mid war aircraft, white on the tri color and Atlantic & ASW schemes, and Gloss Sea Blue on the overall Sea Blue aircraft.

Perfect! This one is gonna be a tri-tone camo. So white it is. I assume from your description that the main gear wells will also be white!
Yes, the wheel wells should also be white. Not sure how deep in the fuselage that goes for the tail wheel, but the main gear wells are all white.

Cheers! Really hard to see in the tail wheel well. So I’ve just painted the tail wheel, strut and tail wheel door white
