Airfix has posted on their Workbench blog images of the sprue shots for their new tooled 1:72 scale Hawker Tempest Mk.V

Looks good but two observation / questions.

1. Trench panel lines…

2. Why are the drop tanks molded in clear plastic?

2. That would be because the fairing between the drop tank and wing was clear on the real aircraft.
   Most evident on the far wing in the photo below.
