A phenomenal example of military archaeology & engineering restoration. I’d love to know what that project cost. And I was hoping they’d fix the seized return rollers and run it up to top speed, although I guess if I’d just spent 4 years restoring it, as the driver I’d be scared sh-less something would break.
It looks great! I am probably going to use a similar camo pattern as this one on my stug model. starting with the brown base looks like a really interesting way to do it, since starting with dark yellow is pretty common. How common was it to ship with the brown base coat near the end of the war? Also, how should i paint the hatches, which will be open?
