The BEST Matte Finish in Town: *(My Opinion!)*

No Sir ~ I am a one man band around here!

Biggles ~ WOW . . . I totally thought your model photo was the real deal!

I was just sure that was taken aboard the Enterprise or the Hornet hanger deck* with the strong directed sunlight coming in through the open elevator.

Again WOW!

*Just finished watching the movie “Midway” - TWICE!

I have no problem with using a rattle can if you find the right color. It works and keeps things simple. But how would you handle multi color soft edged camo… raised/spaced masking cards?

Bingo! ~ You got it! I cut a diagonal slot about a 1/4 inch wide in a piece of typing paper. Hold it an inch or so off the work piece with one hand and the spray can in the other and spray the paint THROUGH the card.

I can’t do all the various forms of German camo this way but I can still do a fairly respectable job.

Bergepanther - Italeri

Mercedes Field Car - Mash-up of Italeri Mercedes Truck and Tamiya Steyr Field Car

Bergejagdpanther; (Paper Panzer - Sd.Kfz. M88) - Italeri plus scratch

Opel Blitz Low Bed (Curbside Load Body) plus scratch tool trailer - Italeri

Demag D7 - (Sd.Kfz. 10) - Revell

Here is what I consider to be a failed attempt at Green over Yellow camo outlined in Red Oxide. Since am now using brush applied pigments I may revisit this old, old Italeri unfinished model to see if I can save it.

I feel your first photo gave no hint of it being a model! Kudos!

Thanks! :smile_cat: :smile_cat: :smile_cat:
