It’s 11m long or so. Quite imposing, and the inside is rather spacious!
The Collection has the T29(105mm gun), T30 (155mm gun), the T34 (120mm gun), and the T30E3 w/ the coincidence rangefinder ears (boxes). Imagine 250+ tons of hardware all parked next to that 90+ ton T28!
A friend and I celebrating a reunion last weekend.
Fun fact: the T29 and T34 had dual coax weapons. The T30 did not! Look over. My gray haired head!
PS- where is the museum on LI?

Wow great picture Ted! That’s a lot of steel!
The museum is in Old Bethpage, Nassau County. It’s called the Museum of American Armor. They have over 50 pieces of armor. Most are runners I think. They have a website as well. Great place!

Here’s a bigger hint. It wasn’t Tamiya. They sent a guy to do research last year.

Must be Takom. This is just their kind of thing. They’ve done the other US heavies, why not the T-28? I’ll bet they get it right, too. I better offload my Dragon kit.

I used T and 4 characters. I’d heard Takom while leaning over the Dragon kit. I could be off by a grid square, but as Matt says, they’ve done the heavies. There’s a fan base already, so why not.
