I am NOT complaining about ads here. I am curious why would it be pictures of models, young models, … I won’t say I’m surprised that the ad algorithm is thinking a bunch of old modelers would like looking at newer models, but I imagine there’s not going to be an upsurge in buying CLOTHES for young models from this crowd…
When the algorithm fails to detect any other preferences it seems to default
to ladies underwear (ladies want to put them on, men want to take them off…).
Go click on some ads anywhere, Google for tools on AliExpress, Temu,
Micromark, any other internet vendor selling anything that you might be
more interested in than ladies underwear.
I strongly suspect that Google uses Your search patterns to select the
ads that Google thinks you are most interested in so go and show interest
for something else, Google for second hand Corvettes, tuning kits for Hondas
or whatever to give Google a hint.
When I google for something I usually get ads for that within 12 hours.
Once you have Google following “the right path” you need to feed the
algorithm by occasionally clicking on ads for fuel injection pumps or
whatever (fishing supplies??) to prevent Google from slipping back into
ladies underwear again …
If you visit “ladies underwear” websites, does Google show you ads for plastic kits?
I hate it when Google slips into ladies underwear.
I haven’t tried.
Go ahead, “take one for the team” …
There is a thread on this site about this very same topic – strange ads appearing on the site.
I forgot what it’s called, though.
i have been “grooming” Google to show me ads for Tradera (a Swedish auction site,
anyone can create an account and auction off stuff they want to sell, some accounts
are companies, some are private and some are private members who seem to have
a large scale buy/sell operation).
People sell everything and anything but I have carefully shown interest in model
related stuff so now I get ads like this (instead of ladies underwear):
If you’re using Google Chrome web browser, Google will slip adverts into many of the websites that you visit.
But if you install the Chrome extension, Adblock Plus, it stops Chrome from displaying adverts
Aww, where’s the fun in that!
