Not exactly paint, but does anyone have experience with thinning Micro kristal clear?
What have you used to thin it and how was the result?

I used distilled water on glues that are similar to it. Tap water would probably work so put a little kristal clear on a pallet and mix it with the water to see if works.

Distilled water works. I’d avoid tap water as it often contains things that will mess with the polymer. You don’t need much, and you have to mix it very thoroughly. You will also get a lot more shrinkage, which may or may not be a good thing.

I tried, and indeed a tiny drop of water made it a lot better.
