Yay! I have been waiting decades for a styrene wrecker! Thunder Models will not disappoint. It will be a complicated model, but it will not disappoint.

Yes ! Of course they have complicated my decision by apparently offering both closed cab and open .Which do I want ? I’ll definitely buy which ever one comes first in case the others don’t appear.

That’s a Big Boy rig fer sure!
The above photo looks to be post war Europe (Germany?) . . .
. . . couldn’t tell where or when this pic was taken, I like the squared off fenders though.
Seems like Kenworth made a version of this truck. Hefty, hefty, hefty.

I guess the one in the top picture is a Ward La France M1 (a.k.a. Model 1000), not a M1A1, contrary to the other one…
Maybe the very same truck (the s/n looks to be the same…)

Correct, the top pic w/rounded front fenders and hardtop (and on the boxart) is an M1 model. The bottom pic w/the angled fenders and softtop is an M1A1. Both Ward Lafrance and Kenworth built both types and they were pretty much identical. Ward Lafrance built a greater number overall.

Didn’t someone here at KM scratch build one of these or was it another truck, it was big, and a beautiful rendition of the truck.
