Tiger 1 early production rc in 1/16

Here is my RC tiger 1 I repainted it from early gray to 1945 tri-color.

I am still in the process of painting kill markings and weathering it more.

Nice. I have a few of the 1/16 RC tanks. My Panzer III and Sherman basically done - some weathering and I still want the upgraded tracks and road wheels for the Sherman. My T-34/85, M5A1, and King Tiger (full upgrades) are still needing a modeler’s TLC.

These have gone up quite a bit in price since I first bought them ($250 for fully upgraded non-IR KT). I really want the M16 Halftrack and the Schwimmwagen. Someday, maybe?

Please, keep posting your progress. Love it!

My dad built a 105 Sherman in 1/16 scale from Tamiya, it is also a RC. He made it about 30 years ago. I can post pictures of it on a new topic. Do you guys want to see it?

I remember seeing a Tamiya RC Sherman as a kid. Every time I went into that hobby shop, I always looked at it and drooled. That thing was soooo impressive to me. Alas, that was several decades ago.

Now, Heng Long and a couple of other RC 1/16 makers get my funds. It’s nice that a lot of the aftermarket stuff for the 1/16 kits are relative to the RC tanks.

Jack, I’d certainly like to see it.
