I was hoping to see a early '70’s Era Sheridan.

Not my era but an interior Sheridan would have been much better than the ‘boring already done to death’ miniart T-55 interior kits.

As for the Tiger II both those standard and advanced kits are in my stash. The only thing is they are the last 10 mins of the war versions so all the other parts are a waste of time.

This earlier version is more of the same but could have been covered in the latest
King Tiger kit

Standard vs Advanced? Just get the Standard. It’s a silly game they’re playing

New Vietnam-era Sheridan with double 50 cals AND the extended bustle rack is a very welcome news! Definitely going to get one. Looks like the bustle rack may be in PE - that would be good for my 3D prints to sell better. Yeah, a Sheridan with interior would have been nice.

I ignore the Tigers with disgust. Come on, more modern subjects, RFM!

The Sheridan with the twin .50s looks awesome…

The King Tiger on the box art is the Fort Benning King Tiger. I had to farm the “332” decals from Tamiya for my Meng King Tiger.

Did you get the Meng KT’s road wheels to sit without a tilt or lean?

I haven’t even started that build; but I’m aware of the wheel tilt issue. at this time, I’m just gathering most of the parts I will need to get the build done, including all the research on KT 233.

Maybe the track set with suspension would sort that out?

They’ve done loads of modern stuff. They’ve only just bought out the T55 with interior.
They have a bunch of the other Ts as the T80 T90 etc, then there’s the Abrams full bunch, the Leopards, the wheeled vehicles etc etc

More modern stuff?

Just to be nonpartisan I would say do an M48 or M60 full interior kit

As for the sacrilege about ignoring Tigers… :face_with_peeking_eye:

It true that RFM need to stop with the Tigers. Enough already. They have refused to fix there blatant errors and even charged builders for the missing engine parts.

They could do some Armoured cars like the 223 etc with the correct radio layouts. That still hasn’t been done yet.

Or a Panzer Ib WITH interior and engine - same. Never been done

My suggestions are certainly not far fetched given that all these vehicles are extant ie they exist!
Come on RFM - fix those Tiger problems and consider the rest

OF COURSE, I want more modern stuff and I DON’T CARE for Tiger I’s, II’s, and Panzers and their cousins.

Shoot, how about M60 “Slick”, how about M48A3 (not the mod B version), how about some OG M48s with some full interior?, how about some M60s with full interior?, how about more modern M113A3s?, M106 mortar carrier?, M1064 mortar carrier?, M1068 SICPS?, M88A2?, M59 APC?

D7E with Rome Plow?, T54E1, new tooled M48 and M60 AVLB?, M1074 JABS?,
And possibly all the modern British ones that Accurate Armour had?

I will stop here…

Ooh a starship with full interior!

Notice the subtleties of the turret lines…

It’s ok, I get it. You like tanks that were developed mainly from German WW2 tanks and their operational experiences. It’s ok. Not a crime

Nah. You don’t get it. I like tank “model kits” that were based on vehicles produced after 1945 and they’re not of Nazi or Axis military during WWII. Post-war, Cold War, Modern, etc. - many terms of art.
You are free to your opinion on the design history or whatever. I am not going to argue with you. Just for reference, for many of the US MBTs, Tanks of the United States - Wikipedia states that they’re primarily based on the design principles of the World War II M26 Pershing tank and T-34 (e.g., sloped armor).
You can like your Tigers all you want. It’s OK. Not a crime.

Yes sure! Just like the stealth bomber, ejection seat, jet turbine, night vision devices, assault rifle, GPMG, Auftragstaktik, etc etc

The US ignored all that leading edge innovation and just wanted to go their own way

Anyway, I’ve enjoyed the good natured banter (although I think you’ve taken a bit of a hiding) so I think we will leave it there! It’s been fun - at least for me lol
