The Tiger kit even if a more recent version of the tank is too a better detailled kit than the now old Tamiya one. The kit have the new tracks (not fantastic), the new wheels and some detailling that Tamiya didn’t put in its own kit. I used connectors from a Rye Field Leopard 2 tracks set!
Are there various colors for the patches? I only saw green triangles over the brown base. The paint scheme reminds me of the of Berlin Brigade pattern.
Wow! SUPER detailing and excellent scratchbuilding. And that paint scheme - outstanding! I’ve never seen anything like it. A lot of work, all of it fantastic. Phenomenal model!
Thanks you all for the comments! In fact i just hopes that this kit will be a good seller since i pray for the Emirati Leclerc (normally it’s a future kit) and why not a Leclerc Azur (with slat armours+ new hard armoured packages).
Hermann: there’re just 2 pics of this test winter camo. I don’t know if the green or winter patchs are magnetics sheets or covering (like those uses on cars).
Olivier: the kit tracks connectors are poor ( not hollow between the 2 axes) with a moulding line. I wanted to do a workable track but it wasn’t work as i wanted so i just glued the connectors. Tiger gives the old style sprocket so using the Bronco old tracks is possible.
Stephane, I read somewhere that the patches are more like stickers. Maybe they simply can peeled off. Depending on the colors of the pattern(s), AM industry can provide colored decal sheets to self-cut the triangles/shapes. Is there a designation of the pattern?
Hermann, from memory the brown camo is the program Scorpion (Skorpion) but i don’t know if the patchs are a part of the program.
Merci Greg, the brown is close to the colour of the vehicles i see often on the roads but i’m affraid it’s a bit too dark for 1/35 before weathering. Like sinaï grey, the colour looks so different under sunny or grey days. Difficult colour for the weathering, first time for me with Terre De France camo.
