Tiger Model Leo 2 Revolution

Thought that I’d try this product that I’ve had sitting around for a bit. Kit has anti-slip molded in, but I thought I could make it more aggressive.

Nice work on the texture. I am always terrified about doing it on my builds for fear I might screw it up. I am going to have to buy some upper hulls to practice with.

Thanks, It wasn’t hard-I just put the glue down on each area that had the rough texture and then sprinkled the sand over that. I then tapped the excess into a bowl.
I’m not sure how durable it is and probably should have done it when I got all the small items on the hull.

I assume that once you drop the primer on top of it, everything will be much sturdier.

After market barrel. Good quality but heavy!

Right or you can just spray some matt varnish as well.

Verlinden’s US '80-'90 era antenna base. No clean up compared to kit part.

Live Resin RWS and CITV temperately mounted.
The kit gives on a choice of two CITV.

Last few pieces have been added to the turret.

Anti slip is on. I’ll let that dry over night and hopefully prime it tomorrow.

Great build Dan, that turret looks hot with the RWS on it. That is one huge turret. Can the Germans pack any more into it? Bunkbeds?

The bunkbeds are inside on the second level.
