Tobias Eder (26) is dead

Just read in the news that german ice hockey national player Tobias Eder from Eisbären Berlin died this week at the age of only 26 years. He had a malignant tumor which was only discovered in August 2024 and died of cancer.
Rest in peace, Tobi!

The ice hockey community in Germany is a small family so the whole scene is shocked by his death and all clubs stand together. Ice hockey fans are not football fans. Condolences came even from other countries. His club Berlin has postponed all their matches this week. Far too young …
