Any chance to see a P 601 A Kübelwagen? The precise name of the car is Sachsenring Trabant P601. A P601 A will look good next the Iltis and Munga, but hopefully easier to build.

Cool, that’s two to add to my want list. AK are coming out with some interesting subjects.

You might be better off lobbying Panzershop to re-issue theirs(!)

A bit tricky but I got there in the end (having dropped it once and with a warped canvas).

Brian, I have a walkaround on the Grenztrabbi on my HD.:slightly_smiling_face: If AK Interactive don´t release one, I can convert the Trabbi kit into a “Stoffhund”.

Delivery date - October 23, ten years from now,

Morning or afternoon?

How could that possibly matter?

The plumber is coming in the morning.

I occasionnally drove one while I was in the Army back in 1987. It was very noisy, had suicide doors and a three-speed gearbox…

You can see the engine access cover between the seats

Don’t feel too bad about it - the Brits were doing their best to catch up!

I suspect the word “racing” would be inappropriate in this case; however, I do remember the village baker delivering our bread in one of these when I was a nipper. Seems almost quaint now, but bread was delivered back then(!) I can almost smell the smell when the baker opened those doors.

Is it just my imagination or do the headlights look slighly cross-eyed?
