I have a brand new, still in the shrink wrap, Tamiya 1/35 H39 French Light Tank.
I’d like to trade for the Tamiya “Ford Mutt” with trailer, I believe this is kit number 35130, the one with the tarp over the jeep.

The newer Academy M151A2 w/Hardtop and trailer is a much better kit. I would recommend replacing the soft rubber tires/wheels though.
It can be built w/out the top and comes with a full engine.
I’m guessing that matters.

Thanks guys, I have the academy hardtop. I want the one with the cover because I’m gonna try and build the ROPS system mentioned in another thread, my old unit had them and we had the soft cover over that.
Hows the other academy one, is it worth acquiring?

The Academy A2 with soft top and trailer as, Frenchy mentioned, is an exact copy of Tamiya’s, so either will do.

That only made sense. Did you use deck tan on those models like you did on your Bradley?
Oh - we never ran the soft tops in Berlin that I can remember. So unfortunately I tossed it. Somehow it makes me feel like I’m making progress when I can empty kit boxes a little at a time,

I used good ol Testors 1963 Deser Sand, I think I have the last can left on earth, hard to find these days. I decant it and shoot it through an airbrush.
I wanted consistency, then at some point I realized the shades changed over the years.
