It looks like the Trumpeter 1/35 M984A2 HEMTT Wrecker will hit the shops soon. Hobby Search web store out of Japan is showing the sprues and some CAD for it. Based on the sprue layout, it looks really nice.
The sprues show it has the correct leaf spring suspension, even though the box top drawing has the incorrect A4 type air suspension.
The crane was one area that needed to be improved on the Italeri kit. It looks like Trumpeter has done a really nice job on it. Based on the parts, it has all three boom sections as separate, movable/positionable pieces. It appears to be the proper, heavier crane on the wrecker as well.
The way the parts are laid out, it looks like they could be planning an M977A2 w/the lighter crane as well. The boom parts and the heavier crane body are on different sprues.
