i came across this news that trumpeter is releasing 1/35 UH-1B Huey in Vietnam war colours in September. hopefully the go on to make a ‘C’ model gunship off of the back of this in the near future.

I would rather see another company release B/C in 1/48 and 1/35.

An unarmed B model seems a strange release but theyre supposedly issuing another version with weapons.
I’m wondering if its the moulds from the Kittyhawk models Hueys they had in development when they folded.
In another post on this subject I noticed what they stated was a B model gunship was actually a D/H in the initial image.
It’s welcome all the less as a Modern decent moulded correct new kitset could replace the venerable old Academy kits. I just hope its poor modelling skills by the company builder that makes the fit of some parts look a bit iffy.

Yes, as you state it is the Kitty Hawk molds. The other thread on this goes into detail on the kit and where it came from.
