I am wanting to paint a Hobbyboss Leopard 2A4 in Turkish camo scheme. I have seen the exterior pattern but were these tanks delivered in Nato green (lower hull) or Desert yellow?

Italeri’s kit has the colors and decals for Turkish A4s.

The first Leopard 2A4TU were delivered 2007 in NATO Standard camouflage, according to “Kampfpanzer Leopard 2 International”, Tankograd Publishing, page 258. They had no markings other than turkish licence plates. The national insignia on the turret was most likely added later.

The Turks painted them a yellow ochre color with the small “stripe” of green on the sides. It is not anything close to a tan, and if you can download the Italeri instructions they give the Italeri color for it. You can also find the color in the Lifecolor Line or MRP Lacquers.
