Is it an A5 or A4? Doesn’t the A5 have the early style rounded turret and the A3/A4 the welded “squarish” turret?
Hard to tell from that vid - some are clearly A3/4 welded turrets, but others look more like the cast turrets of the 1A5. But they could have upgraded 1A4s to A5 standard in terms of sights etc, thus creating a 1A4A5… (And maybe they have the benefit of later features from the Leo 2 series added? It’ll be interesting to see in detail.)
The original Leopard 1A5 were based on the by then obsolete rounded turret versions.
Ukraine received 1A5’s but I would not be the least surprised if some of the tanks they
received were A4’s modernized to the A5 standard (to make up the numbers)

The Danes also used an improved version of the Leopard 1A3 or 1A4 that they designated the Leopard 1A5DK. The ones in the video look a lot like the Danish models with Ukrainian mods.

In modelling terms, Legend Productions makes a conversion for the Leo 1 A5 DK.

It is a former Danish 1A5DK. Welded turret and white-light searchlight on the mantlet.
Denmark donated 40+ 1A5 early in 2023, and another 30 a year ago September 2023. More 1A5 pledged this year. 7 more 2A4 pledged this year.
Germany donated 20 1A5 in August 2023. They pledged a total of 115 1A5.
The Netherlands donated 33 1A5. They also pledged 7 more 2A4.
Our CPT Obvious moment: (we all know this, just sharing to help with AFVID)
The Leo 1 turret (except the 1A3 and 1A4) have a readily recognizable small flat roof for the two hatches.
The 1A3 (look ma, no blisters!) had a rather large flat for the turret roof:
I slept on the turret roof the night the Wall came down, with 10th Panzeraufklarungs Battalione in Ingolstadt. Early in the morning, we had some VERY old schnapps!
And the hatches themselves are distinct: see the molded cover on the A3. I don’t know if the hatches are backwards/forwards compatible. So now I’ll go look carefully at the turret roofs and make more SWAGS!
Based on the donors, ALL the Leopards would be 1A5. ALL the Oryx records indicate that three Leopard 1A5 have been DDA (destroyed/damaged/abandoned).
And here is a key AFVID feature: the 1A5 has the EMES 18 FCS, and the ORF (optical RF) blisters are removed and plugged.
Drum roll for the finish:
Ukraine has a thriving base of ERA manufacturing. They’ve been using it on their Russian equipment for years. Nhiz (Knife in Ukrainian) is the name. They have recently upgraded to version Duplet 2. Uniquely, they are designed to minimize sympathetic detonation of adjacent blocks, AND provide improved protection against tandem-warheads. They have exported some kits to Pakistan.
Essentially, the hard part is designing and fabricating attachment for the brinks.
