Ive had great results with it and I like it , very easy to use , but recently it seems to be ineffective and NOT making things flat .
Is this normal ? For flat varnishes to stop working ?

I think if they get old they would degrade.3rd generation Ak Flat varnish i heard was good.Other alternatives are Winsor and Newton Galleria artists matt varnish and Gunze Sangyo varnishes are good.

I have old AK Ultra matte which is still working fine, just need good shaking.
Never tried the stuff, but I worry about anything with “lucky” in the name! We have a takeaway food place nearby called “Good Luck” - sounds rather ominous…
I have been using Wattyl Flat Estapol diluted 50/50 with white sprite for over 20 years always perfectly matt and has not yellow any model. After painting (regardless of paint type) I cover the entire model with Pledge Revive it (formerly one go) leave it for at least 24 hours and hit it with the estapol.
