I do like that; I’ve often had a hankering to tackle those models of my boyhood, including such majestic items as this venerable Airfix one.

Congratulations on finishing your Heinkel 111! The camouflage pattern is definitely interesting and well executed , as is the rest of the model. I really like it. As a kid, I was given a book call The History of Air Warfare. It includes a Heinkel 111 in a very similar scheme and I have wanted to build that plane for a long time. The last picture, with the Heinkel parked next to a Russian Airacobra, nicely demonstrates the size of the machine.

Great job everyone. Glad to see some queens get of the shelf of doom and completed.
I am still overseas, and trying to organise the award via iPad is proving an issue. I may need to have to do this when I get back home later this month.
Alternately, Doug, if you send the list of those that finished and the award GIF, as a PM to Staff-Jim, then Jim could do it for you.
