I found this “US Army” ammo can in an online shop. Can anyone here confirm that is US Army and what was transported therein.

Those look very similar to some Karl Gustav containers we used in Iraq, which may or may not be buried in a few locations within 200 miles of my house. The dimensions make me think that one is for some sort of of 155mm projectile or powder, I have seen the rare powder canister that looks similar. Probably all made by the same manufacturer.
