Not surprising but still interesting.

Actually, I’d put the troop seats back in and have a monitor inside to view the outside, and call it S70 UHawk-Troop.

With a range of 1,600 nautical miles = 2,963 kilometers = 1,841 miles, that range is HUGE for a Blackhawk.

The S70 UHawk-Troop pilot can be among the troops inside and have another backup pilot with a tablet in case of malfunction.

I think the range is increased because the S70 Hawk comes with no ballistic protection whatsoever and all the expensive and complex defensive equipment such as chaff/flare, warning detectors, IRCMs, etc. Adding troops back in will most likely reduce the range and increase the expense. Still, an assumed 1,600-mile ferry range S70 UHawk-Troop is hundreds of miles farther than a UH-60M with a combat range of 370 miles, and a maximum ferry range of 1,380 miles.
