Dragon kits? Here a few samples available at a reasonable price. Plus an Asuka Sherman in the middle.
Hell, I’d almost buy the M1A1 just to get the tow bar, and resell it for $25.00.
I have had great experience with Hannants. I live in Chicago and the only trouble is Hannants shipping to the US can get out of hand. For small boxes it seems always fine, but if you get something in a big box, the shipping can become too much. I think I got a good deal on a couple of Miniart sale items that made the shipping tolerable, but I’ve often put a 1/35 kit in the cart and then dropped it when I saw what it did to the overall shipping.
I hadn’t actually given much thought to our transatlantic friends, who often seem to have bargains we don’t have access to in the U.K. My post was aimed more at our Hellenistic brother…
Cheers,
M
The prices are great but unfortunately after Brexit shopping from the UK involves taking a risk for when the package reaches customs. Parcels from the UK, depending on the price, are subject to a customs clearance fee plus added vat plus some extra fees. A parcel worth 200 euros could require an extra 80 euros to clear customs and be delivered. This way even if the price is low enough the final cost may skyrocket.
I used to shop from Hannants and other UK shops and eBay sellers but after Brexit it has become unaffordable.
Have you tried Modellbau König in Germany/EU?
I haven’t compared prices with Hannants …
Lets say I know them and they know me…
You and me both …
I suspect Dragons well thought out instructions will continue. I doubt there any upgrades there.
Starting my second job next week so I can pay their shipping fees…!
As far as Canada goes, BNA https://www.bnamodelworld.com/ has great shipping. We also have a free trade agreement with Australia, so we don’t get taxed importing!
BNA rocks! To the USA, too!
If only it worked the other way too , say from Sprue Brothers to Oz. But no, USPS is OTT
