Uploading/Posting photos doesn't work

Yeah… because while the file tried to upload and potentially even looked fine initially, sometime during the migration process from a temporary file to a permanent one, there was no room on the drive so it failed. All files like this uploaded during the ‘troubles’ will need to be reuploaded.

This photo was uploaded and visible before the storage space was exhausted:

Perhaps, but that was on another drive, and that drive is wiped from memory now, so…

Reupload.

i now appear to have the issue of recently posted photos are unable to be viewed. i can upload pics but just get unable to be viewed if i click on recent images

I would need a link to a page to try to replicate this issue. All topics both new and old (other than the ones created between when i mounted the larger drive and when i fixed the partition) are showing images just fine on my end.

what i get is

and when i try to open them

It’s not every page, but seems to be the photos that were uploaded Yesterday (for me)

As I said… these images will need to be fixed by the post owner and reuploaded. There is no getting them back, etc.

@staff_Jim I tried to reupload lost images this morning and they are still not showing up. RFM T-80UK 93rd Mechanized Brigade

Upload one of the images here as a test.

Copy-Pasted

I have noticed that the missing/broken images have different colours
so I copy-pasted the image above to check if it got broken and the resulting
monochrome field had been coloured by the original picture

Drag & Drop

@deerstalker36, ok - thanks for pointing this out. The funny thing, is that the images show up on my laptop, and not the phone? On the phone, I get the same images you show above.

I will repost the pictures, thanks

@Youngun I guess email me the image you just tried to upload so I can see if there is something amiss. Whatever the issue is it must only be happening on specific situations and not for the community as a whole. Send to publisher@kitmaker.net

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,

It appears only a day or two was the issue of seeing the photos.

Thanks for taking care of this.
