The process is gradually progressing. The glass parts left an unpleasant impression. The material is similar to nylon, but it scratches very easily and doesn’t polish. As a result, I replaced the door windows with homemade ones.

I dig your hood latches. Even blown up to 300% they look great. Everything about this build is extremely well done.

Thank you! The model is not intended to be dirty, which imposes certain requirements on the manufacture and assembly of the parts.

Thanks, Angel!
I made new mirror mounts. The stock holders are just as good, but these homemade wire ones look thinner and more elegant.

Installed the windshield wipers, the air intake grille in the cabin, and the headlights. The car is ready for use. The next step to the final stage is the car body.

As they say in our halls, the music didn’t last long… I was finally convinced I’d gotten the box size wrong. I had to wash off the paint, cut off 3mm of height, and solder everything back together. It’s closer to the original now.

Now the box lid is level with the driver’s door handle. There are some questions about the thickness of the stampings and the location of the middle stamping, but I decided to leave everything as is.

Finish! I’ll add some “good” photos a little later.

Superb work. One of the best truck models I’ve ever seen! The detail is incredible.

A masterpiece. Did you emboss that rib in the box yourself?

Thank you, colleagues. All the ribs on the box - it’s soldered and processed wire.
