jmarc, this is an awesome project! Your work, especially on the buggies, so far looks incredible. A while back, I saw this Intrepid kit advertised on Facebook and I wish that I would’ve pursued it. Good luck with the rest of this project.

Jmarc, do the wagons come with Intrepid? Are they scratch built???
Awesome work!
For comparison, you should display Intrepid with your CF105! What a dichotomy.
Something you don’t see every day! Very cool little project.
The wagons look great and I did wonder myself if they were from the kit or scratched.
How is the balloon itself made? Were they injection moulded pieces or vac-forms?
Will be watching this, bought one years back when I was working at an All Wars Museum, planning to use in the Civil War section. Never got past the idea stage. Wayne
HI !
No those are the BORAX 20 mule team kit …Good ideal, will see
HI !
Glad you like the project …To answer your question ,the ballon is a multi standard injected mold parts that need some work to fit togheter, remember it,s an old kit … The wagons are from the BORAX 20 mule team kit
Jmarc
TTTTTTTThanks … Cool, time to take it out , this is quite something to see when it’s built and would be curious to see how you will takle it … GO,GO,GOOOOO
Stay tune more to come shortly …
Thanks. I did wonder if they did it as a vac like the sails in old sailing ship kits. To keep the scale effect of the balloon. Hard styrene is much more durable though so probably good they went that way!
Best of luck with it.
You got it reigh , now it,s figure out how it’s goiing to stay in the air !!..Thankssss , Syau tune more to come shortly …
I knew those look familiar!
CCCCCCCCool !
