Funny how two of the images are removed from the Marine Corps inventory already.
The Abrams on the front cover is a Army M1A2 SEP V.2
I agree it’s an Army tank but I don’t think it’s a A2, as it doesn’t have the commanders citv on the front right. I don’t recall A2’s being able to switch those out but I could be wrong.
I think it was more of representative statement about tanks not in the MC anymore.
It is a US Army M1A2 SEP v2. You can see the CITV behind the spare road wheel (red circle) and it has the CROWS II on top of the GPS box.
I thought that was something else when looking this morning, an A2 it is.
