Any of you remember the late-great Squadron Shop, and their 54mm metal Squadron/Rubin Miniatures? Here is USMC Pilot 1943, No.67. My model history shows I painted it on July 4, 1976. I did not record what paints I used but no doubt they were Pactra and Imrie/Risley* enamels ( Imrie/Risley Paint ).
So back to the model. It still wears the original paint but over the years I have fiddled with improving it with highlight and shadow, and weathering techniques. The face needs more work but it looks better than it used to.
