USS Forrest Sherman or USS Arleigh Burke

Hello fine gentleman, I’m in the market for a 1/350 scale Arleigh Burke class destroyer, and these two are the only options where i live.

DDG-51 is the Flight I version of the ship, which includes 2 harpoon launchers and 2 Phalanx CIWS but no hangars.

DDG-98 is the Flight IIa version of the ship which has all of the harpoon launchers and CIWS removed to make space for new ESSMs. Well, they eventually added the CIWS back in but DDG-98 is one of the few unfortunate to not have it. They also added 2 hangars for ASW helicopters.

I really like the classic look of the flight I with the harpoon launchers and CIWS and the sleek modern look of the flight IIa with the hangars (which have the interior and can be posed open btw), but I’m not sure which one to buy. As far as I know the quality is roughly the same.

If anybody built either of these kits, can they let me know which one is better?

Ive built the FS version, found it very good. The only trouble spot I encountered was the method trumpeter molded the superstructure in clear parts. The parts are poorly fit together, and difficult to align. Other than that, a treat to build
